How to improve reading score in IELTS?

Reading is a nut-cracker for all those who find reading is challenging for them. To be honest, reading easy language is never boring such as mentioned in blogs, But in IELTS, you must be ready to learn new words. Here is what you can do:

Prepare your diary of notes where you jot down all the words, find their meaning as well as synonyms.

Make small goals, start by reading small paragraph and highlight elements related to the questions.

Skimming and scanning! Heard of it before?

It actually means reading carefully only related information that relates the question.

Focus the key words :

Most/ some / few / certain/ many/ most/ all/ only / except

Modals: Can/ could/ may/ might/ must/ should/ shall/ will/ would have/ have to

Adjectives of frequency: often/ sometimes/ seldom/ hardly/ everyday/ daily

Adjectives of quality: New / latest/recently developed/ up to-date

Start from solving the most simple form of questions:

such as

FILL IN THE BLANKS

then TRUE/ FALSE/ NOT GIVEN

WHO SAID WHAT- MATCHING SUITABLE PERSON

MATCH THE SUITABLE PARAGRAPH

MATCH THE HEADINGS

I am sure you would be able to enhance the scores by following these methods.

Break a leg!
